1985
York Telecom Corporation founded by Dr. York Wang.
1998
Infoteknikk was founded in Stavanger Norway.
1990s
Built one of the largest early U.S. government videoconferencing networks, setting the foundation for our mission-critical service DNA.
2008
Infoteknikk and Nor Communication become Viju; meanwhile VisionsConnected was founded in Amsterdam.
2012
Company renamed Yorktel, signifying a shift into collaboration and managed services.
2017
Viju and Visions-Connected are acquired by Avedon Capital Partners and create a new brand identity. Kinly is born.
2018
Kinly strengthens in Benelux with acquisition of MK2 Audiovisual.
2019
Spun off our healthcare communications business into a sister telehealth company, Caregility. Yorktel retained the core collaboration and AV business.
2020
Kinly acquires AVMI, a global AV-integrator and managed services provider, headquartered in UK.
2024
Acquired by private-equity firm One Equity Partners (OEP) to support next phase of global growth.
2025
Celebrated 40-years of operation, marking our transformation into a global systems integrator and managed services provider.
